Planting for a greener tomorrow: Our tree-planting initiative at Mindrum Farm
We are delighted to share an exciting update on our tree-planting initiative at Mindrum Farm in Northumberland, in the North of England - a project that reflects our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
At our 2024 AGM in Rome, we pledged to plant a tree for each delegate who attended, and with our largest-ever event welcoming 200 participants, that promise has grown into a significant reforestation effort.
Planting is underway!
The first trees are now going into the ground at Mindrum Farm! The tree guards have been carefully laid out in the meadow to provide the best conditions for growth, protecting the young saplings from wildlife and harsh weather.
Expert planting for long-term success
The planting is being carried out by Tom Fairfax and his Mindrum team, ensuring that each tree is carefully positioned to thrive. Once established, these 200 trees will enhance biodiversity, improve soil health, and support carbon capture, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
This project is more than just planting trees – it’s about creating a lasting positive impact on the environment.
