MGI Worldwide named in top 20 global accounting networks in Africa, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for another year running!
The June 2019 edition of the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) has been published and MGI Worldwide is delighted to announce once again that our global accounting network continues to rank among the top 20 in Africa and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
MGI Worldwide in South Africa
South Africa entered the rankings in 16th position this year, thanks to MGI Worldwide firm MGI Bass Gordon showing a 6% growth in fee income from ZAR 62.0 to ZAR 65.7.
The firm amassed 43 per cent of this total from its accounting services, 33 per cent from audit and assurance work, a combined 10 per cent from tax and advisory services, and 14 per cent from other work.
In addition to this, MGI Bass Gordon came 17th among South Africa’s top accounting networks in relation to their staff data, with 83 staff members, comprised of 8 directors and 75 staff.
MGI Worldwide in Morocco
In Morocco, MGI Worldwide holds the 11th position in the top international accountancy networks.
Our sole Moroccan-based member firm Audicis SARL, are responsible for MGI Worldwide ranking ninth among Morocco's top accounting networks in terms of staff numbers, with 26 staff in the country; three partners and 23 professionals.
MGI Worldwide in Egypt
The network also ranked highly in Egypt, thanks to the work of our Cairo-based member Dr. Ashraf Han na accounting and auditing firm. The global accounting network ranks in 15th place in terms of fee income, which saw an increase of 19 per cent over the course of the year with a rise from EGP 7.4 million to EGP 8.9 million.
Meanwhile, the network held it’s 16th place ranking for its staff data, with a rise from 10 staff last year to a total of 14 staff this year (two partners and 12 professionals) in a single office.
