MGI Worldwide member firms in the UK & Ireland region, form strategic alliance to benefit clients
As part of the MGI Worldwide global network, firms are able to tap into the specialisations of other member firms, to extend their services. This type of collaboration was recently put into practice by two UK member firms, Alexander Knight & Co in Manchester, and Freestone Jacobs in Portsmouth.
Adding value for clients
Passionate about supplying the best possible service to its clients, Alexander Knight & Co was looking to extend the firm’s specialist tax advisory service. This led them to explore relationships with other firms within the MGI Worldwide network, which ultimately saw the formation of a strategic alliance with Freestone Jacobs.
Founded by Paul Taylor and Allison Walker, Freestone Jacobs is a leading specialist tax advisory firm with more than 35 years of experience as Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors. Thanks to this new collaboration, Alexander Knight & Co will be tapping into Paul and Allison’s expertise to enhance strategic planning for its clients in multiple scenarios ranging from mergers and acquisitions to restructuring.
Ambitious plans for growth and development
Alexander Knight & Co is innovative and ambitious in its plans for growth and development in 2022, and is dedicated to hiring and working with the best professionals in the accountancy marketplace. The firm has now formed a solid business relationship with Freestone Jacobs and is looking forward to building further on the relationship so that the benefits of Paul and Allison’s experience can be brought to Alexander Knight & Co’s entrepreneurial clients.
We want to hear from you
One of the many benefits of membership of MGI Worldwide is the opportunity to collaborate with firms around the world. This collaboration takes many forms, from the sharing of knowledge on technical issues, the referral of paid client projects, and the sharing of more personal, local, knowledge around anything from the best restaurants to the best golf courses.
MGI Worldwide would love to find out more about the collaborations our members have formed. Where, why and how have you collaborated with other members and what benefits have these relationships brought? We are implementing a new system to track these connections so that all members can benefit from the experiences of others.
Spread the word
Are you in contact with another member firm? If so, we’d like to hear about it. So, whenever you contact another MGI Worldwide member by email, whether it be directly or in response to a message they have sent you, or if you pass a member’s contact details on to another member, a client, or a potential client, we would love it if you could copy [email protected] into your message.
That’s all you have to do! If your message isn’t in English that’s fine too as we can handle the translation from our side. If you are unsure about whether or not it is appropriate to include this new email address in your message please don’t worry as we can decide whether it is relevant or not – we would rather get more messages than less.
Please be assured that MGI Worldwide will never reveal any client or personal identities, project fees or other sensitive information that your emails may contain.
