Exciting news from South Africa as growing Pretoria-based firm MGI RAS is welcomed to the MGI Worldwide Family. Choosing to adopt the MGI prefix right away and holding a prestigious re-brand launch event to mark the occasion, the firm further strengthens our reach in the Africa region.

The firm is led by Patricia Stock, CEO. Since joining the MGI Worldwide network, Patricia has immersed herself fully in network life, participating in online and in-person meetings including the recent Africa region meeting held in Nairobi, Kenya, and taking an active role in the MGI Worldwide Women Who Lead group aimed at encouraging and supporting the next generation of women and the future leaders of accounting. She is also a member of the Africa Regional Committee.

Celebrating milestones and re-brand
On 16 March 2023 MGI RAS hosted a thanksgiving and rebranding gala dinner, themed: “Our call to greatness and authentic collaboration”.
Patricia explains:
“The celebration came at a perfect time, 5 years after the restructuring of MGI RAS following the merger of three firms, and soon after becoming a member of MGI Worldwide. The MGI RAS team celebrated together with our esteemed guests who represented our diverse stakeholders’ group and who are part of our interconnected global village of supporters.”
MGI RAS was happy to welcome colleagues from MGI Bass Gordon in Cape Town, who attended the event in person.

MGI Worldwide CEO, Chris Borneman, and MGI Alekim Managing Partner, Felix Kimoli, sent congratulatory video messages. The whole event was live streamed and enjoyed the support of the virtual community.
