MGI Australasia holds one of first in-person meetings as delegates gather for Future Leaders conference in Adelaide
MGI Australasia was excited to hold one of its first in-person conferences since the pandemic hit as 16 delegates gathered in Adelaide to attend the Future Leaders conference. This two-day workshop aimed to provide some of our awesome team members with the skills and understanding of how to use different communication skills to strengthen their relationships with both colleagues and clients alike.
The conference ran from Thursday to Friday and was attended by professionals from five of our firms in the region. MGI Australasia welcomed Suzanne from Wisdom Learning who taught delegates about emotional intelligence, HBDI theory, communication and influencing skills and Whole Brain Thinking. There were also opportunities for socialising and networking, including a dinner on the Thursday night which allowed staff from different MGI Australasia firms to get to know one another. These relationships are very important to the region due to the connectedness of the MGI Australasia network and how closely they work together as a region.
Fantastic feedback from all delegates

"The conference has been really insightful for me personally. It has helped me understand how one person approaches similar situation in distinct ways compared to others. Understanding not only your client but also your work colleagues and approaching them in the ways they are comfortable is really going to help me in my career development. I believe that knowledge alone isn’t sufficient but building a strong relationship with everyone is equally important. I feel the learning from the conference is going to help me achieve not only my goals but also help others achieve theirs." |
