Italy adjusts certain aspects of the international tax law to align with international practices

Italy-based MGI Studio Pragma updates MGI Worldwide accounting network members on Italian International Tax Reform: Tax Residence and Inbound Workers Regime.

The Italian government has implemented a new law to modernise its international tax laws and align them with the best practices of other countries.

The law makes several changes, including updating the rules for determining tax residency, simplifying the controlled foreign company regime, and offering tax incentives for businesses that bring their operations back to Italy.
