Costa Rica member firm takes the MGI prefix to strengthen position in local market
Having joined the network in 2023, Costa Rica-based MGI Murillo y Asociados, decided early on to adopt the MGI prefix to fully benefit from the global brand and strengthening their position in their local market.
The decision to join the MGI Worldwide network marked a significant milestone for the firm. Esteban Murillo Delgado, founding partner and MGI key contact at the firm, recognises that in order to grow and compete for larger clients - particularly in the private sector - international collaboration and reach are essential.
Esteban explains:
“We want to be better positioned to be able to compete for larger clients. I believe that being a member of MGI, and taking the prefix, will help to differentiate us as a firm, so that clients see that we can offer something more. In addition to this, we hope to improve at a technical level and be able to access markets where global representation is required.”
As well as recognising the value of the MGI prefix, Esteban knows that making the most of membership means getting involved and connecting with fellow members. Since joining the network, he has been active within the Latin America region, participating in regional meetings in both Mexico in 2023 - where he presented his firm to fellow delegates - and Colombia in 2024.
