Athens-based atc Certified Public Accountants excited to join the MGI Worldwide network as they look towards building a bigger presence in Greece

With ambitions to grow and continually improve and add value to Clients, atc Certified Public Accountants become the second firm in Europe to make the transition from CPAAI to the MGI Worldwide network. 

Established in 2012, atc has expanded from 2 to 35 personnel with the vision to grow further in the next few years.

The firm provides audit, bookkeeping and tax services for one of the leading and fastest growing energy trading and sales groups in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, based in Slovenia. Along with Deloitte, they were the only firm to be awarded this work for their subsidiaries in Greece. They also have international business with Romania, Serbia, Cyprus, Italy and the USA (New Jersey) and their main industry of focus where they have approximately 160 clients is in the food and construction industries.

• Audit & Assurance – Special purpose audits, limited assurance engagements, company financial audits, operational audits, tax certificate, internal audits
   
• Tax Services – Company taxation, tax advice, VAT support, transfer pricing, capital taxation, specialist individual income tax support

Building relations with fellow Members MGI Sofakis Partners  

atc joins fellow MGI Worldwide members, MGI Sofakis Partners. Also based in Athens and together they share the target of improving their reputation and service offering throughout Greece. Both firms are excited about the potential opportunities for collaboration and working together.  

Building relationships across the network  

The firm have been able to support member firm Copsey Murray in Ireland with an outward referral, and who’s client reported that he was “very satisfied” with the service they received. In addition, they have also been able to refer business to member firms based in Romania, Bulgaria, and the USA, amongst others. 

Already looking to leverage MGI Worldwide’s partnership agreement with CaseWare as part of their Network membership, atc is planning on bringing in new audit software to improve their services to clients. The firm since its formation was already using its own customised audit tool for its clients and now with CaseWare atc will be able to provide even more quality services.

The firm also uses Amadeus Database for Transfer pricing, IDEA audit software for gathering evidence and analysing data and Spotlight for reporting and forecasting.
