Another successful 2019 Talent Meeting in Action at MGI Worldwide!
“It’s so fantastic to see young people from around our firms come together, have fun and learn. Learn more about each other and how they can start to have those connections that can turn into long-term relationships, and friendships that can really help them both professionally and personally.”, says MGI Worldwide International Marketing Director, Maxine Brock.
MGI Europe and MGI UK & Ireland held the 2019 Talent Meeting in Heathrow, UK, on 10 and 11 January, where the “future network of MGI professionals” had opportunity to meet each other for the first time, learn more about MGI Worldwide, share ideas, and have fun! Primarily aimed at rising talents within firms, and partners who are not regular attendees at MGI meetings. The event was a great success attracting more than 80 delegates from more than 20 countries across Europe, UK and Ireland.

Laura Robinson, Client Manager at Seymour Taylor, UK, says “Things to get from here are just really making connections, and getting to know people, and the differences in different countries, and how actually we can help each other”.
László Killik, BPO AUDIT TAX, Hungary, also International Committee Member representing Europe, says, “The contribution of the younger generation is a win-win situation for both sides. We can share with them our knowledge of the network and how we do business, and they share their new ideas, and they inspire us”.
Shane Dwane, Roberts Nathan, Ireland, says “The atmosphere here has been really relaxed for the most part and people are very approachable, way more than they are maybe in real life. I think that has been a cool benefit of being here.”
Monia Buoncompagni, PRAGMA SRL, Italy, says “To be here is exciting because we have the opportunity to meet lots of people which I work with but I never met before.”
Roger Isaacs, Partner at Milsted Langdon LLP, UK, also MGI Worldwide Chairman, says “We’ve got some younger people here today who will be the leaders of tomorrow and have got some fantastic ideas. We have built some fantastic relationships in MGI. Different levels, with different people, across different specialists within the organisation” he goes on to say “new relationships being forged in the coffee bar and at lunch today, and that’s what made the day a success. That’s what we need for people to keep coming back”.
