A new CEO for MGI Worldwide
We are delighted to announce that from today, 9 May, global accountancy network MGI Worldwide has a new Chief Executive Officer, Chris Borneman.
Chris, based in the UK, joins us after a distinguished career as a soldier and diplomat. He brings with him a wealth of international experience as a senior executive.
His deep international background and impressive leadership skills will be essential in helping MGI Worldwide to continue grow its market position and brand strength in the coming years. Chris will be building on the outstanding work carried out by Clive Viegas Bennett, the outgoing CEO, who will retire at the end of June, after nearly 10 intense years of growth and strategic change leading MGI Worldwide.
Chris comments that “It has been a great pleasure to work closely with Clive in recent months. His is a hard act to follow but his enthusiastic support is making the handover about as pain free as is possible. I am deeply grateful to take over an organisation that is in such great shape, ready for the challenges to come.”
Co-Chairs of MGI Worldwide, Roger Isaacs and Jim Holmes are confident that in Chris we have found someone who will lead the organisation with innovation, distinction and integrity. They commented: “After an extensive search, supported by a renowned executive search firm, we are delighted to have identified Chris Borneman as Clive’s successor. We are really excited to work with Chris to move onto the next level of our strategic development. MGI Worldwide remains in very good hands for the future.”
MGI Worldwide is a top 20 global accounting network with almost 9,000 professionals, accountants and tax experts in some 400 locations in over 100 countries around the world.
