The harsh reality of modern technology is that it’s not a question of if you’ll be compromised, but when. In the world of cyber security, maintaining a robust defence is crucial. Often, our actions—or inactions—are the weakest link, making breaches more likely. Each of us plays a critical role as the first line of defence for both ourselves and our organisations.
Cybercriminals today focus on targeting employees as a gateway into organisations, exploiting curiosity, mistakes, and even greed. Many employees lack the knowledge to recognise suspicious or harmful content, leaving both themselves and their organisations vulnerable. Using social engineering tactics, criminals manipulate employees and exploit their trust, targeting individuals at every level of the organisation—no one is exempt from the risk of a breach.
