MGI European Talent Meeting attracts many new faces and helps build future network of MGI professionals
MGI Europe organised the second Talent Meeting following the positive feedback received from last year’s event. Held on 19 January at the Airport Hotel Steigenberger Frankfurt, Germany, the primary goal of the meeting was to build the future network of MGI professionals.
All members were invited to attend this one-day event, primarily aimed at young rising talents within the firm, specialists (tax, VAT, audit, IFRS etc.), and partners who usually don't attend MGI meetings.
The meeting attracted 85 people who registered which is an increase of 23% from last year.

Many new faces with representatives from 19 different countries
Many in attendance had never been to an MGI meeting before and representatives came from 19 different countries including: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Many firms sent two or three delegates on average, and we were happy to see that some of the businesses registered came with more than five people taking the benefit of this unique networking opportunity.
Thank you to MGI European Coordinators Erik Emilsson and Morten Ryberg and Zoltan Paksy for the excellent delivery. Special thanks go to the moderators of the professional team discussions: Francesco Bartolucci, Clive Viegas Bennett, Maxine Brock, Patrick Reeff, Erik Emilsson, Morten Ryberg, Paul Winder and Mikael Leduc.
